Who we are

twenty-four acres of hayfield and hardwood -- one family, a flock of hens, a saffron plot, a pole barn still going up.

we bought the parcel in 2024 from two neighboring families. eleven acres of hardwood, eight in pasture, a garden, a pond, and a pole barn that is still going up.

right now: about twelve dozen eggs a week, three hundred saffron corms in the ground, chickens on portable electric net. year two brings goats, then brush-clearing, then the kitchen once michigan's cottage food law expands in march.

we close friday sundown to saturday sundown. we don't put our kids online. email is how we talk.
